Yes. Verifly now offers insurance for night flights by authorized pilots. During your policy quotation, Verifly calculates the estimated time remaining until night depending on your selected time period (1, 4, or 8 hours). If your time period overlaps Civil Twilight you will be asked to self-certify that you are allowed to fly at night and have an FAA waiver enabling you to do so. Once you complete the certification process, your policy will be purchased for the full policy period you selected. Please note there are additional charges as described on the app for night policies.

If you do not have the authority to fly at night please indicate this during the certification process and your policy will automatically be truncated to end before Civil Twilight. If the difference is over an hour, you may purchase a standard policy. If this is under an hour but more than 30 minutes, you will be automatically offered a 30 minute policy. If you are within 30 minutes of nighttime, you will be unable to purchase policies. You may purchase policies when it is light in the morning as calculated by the app.
