The policy provided by Verifly is a “primary” policy. That means it kicks in straight away if you have liability claims. “Excess” policies, however, only pay out after all other policies that might cover you have been exhausted. In practice, this means it’s usually easier and quicker to report and process a claim on a primary policy. Common examples of excess policies include group policies provided by some R/C modeling clubs. Verifly complements such policies by providing a primary shield of liability protection.
